Strictly Come Dancing Fundraiser in aid of Drogheda ABACAS School and the Gary Kelly Centre

strictly dancing autismThere are 45 dancers taking part in our Strictly Come Dancing Fundraiser.  They have been practicing really hard for the past 10 weeks putting in so much work with our choreographer Aisling Nally.    This is going to be a fabulous show.

There have been many, many people involved in getting this show on the stage and most of all we would like to thank our fabulous dancers who have worked so hard for the last ten weeks.  There is not a blister plaster left in the town at this stage and we think their efforts have really paid off as the standard of dancing is extremely high.

Our choreographer Aisling Nally has worked tirelessly with all our dancers to create the wonderful dances you will see tonight and we would like to thank her for her efforts.    We would also like to thank Niamh Eustace and Gillian Harte for their dancing expertise and assistance.

We are delighted to welcome Joe Rooney as our MC and our esteemed Judging Panel consisting of Gerry Kelly - LMFM, Fiona O’Connell – Drogheda Pantomime Society, David Moore – David Moore School of Irish Dance and Linda O’Connor of Lyndance we are extremely grateful for your time and expertise.

We would also like to thank our many supporters who have helped stage the show .  These include Biofresh Makeup, Cormac Freeman of Freemans Dress Hire, Paul O’Connor, Ben Corcoran, Ged Rafferty, Aine Walsh, Ciara Monaghan, Richie O’Carroll, Eugenia Whelan and the Amergin Artists Group, Eoin Darcy, The Drogheda Pantomime Society, the Sacred Heart School, the 27th Infantry Battalion Army band, musicians Gerry Mulroy and Paul Martin, Linda Boylan Newman Hair Salon, Sharon Kelly Rua Hair Salon, Beauty Dolls Beauticians and many more.

There will be a wonderful raffle during the show and we thank all those who donated raffle prizes to us.
