A sibshop sibling workshop in on Saturday the 24th May 2014 from 3-5pm in the Droghedas ABACAS School for children with Autism, Mallard House, 13 Fair street, Drogheda, Co. Louth.
A nominal fee of €5 is requested.
Autism Support Louth&Meath in conjunction with Irish Autism Action are delighted to facilitate these workshops for siblings of children with autism aged between 7-13 years.
Sibshops are best described as opportunities for brothers and sisters of children with special health and developmental needs to obtain peer support and education within a recreational context.
Sibshops are lively, pedal to the metal celebrations of the many contributions made by brothers and sisters of children with special needs.
Sibshops acknowledge that being the brother or sister of a person with special needs is for some a good thing, others are not so good thing and for many somewhere in-between.
The workshop will be held in the Drogheda ABACAS School for Children with Autism, Fair St, Drogheda.
Please note there is a nominal €5 charge for this workshop but places are limited. Please book your place here as soon as possible as there is high demand, even if people have attended before, please book to confirm your attendance.
