Carer Support and Information Survey & New Information and Support Officer

This survey is to help improve the information content of our website and I would greatly appreciate your suggestions and feedback as this website is to help you access the relevant information that is helpful to you.

Autism Support Louth&Meath were successful in receiving funding from the Dormant Account Fund for our project "Active Support for Carers caring for Family Members with Autism and/or Complex Needs".  This project comprises of a number of different elements which will take place over the next year including a part time Information and Support Officer,  provision of relevant Training and Talks, provision of individual information sessions and activity based respite.

Frances Butterly has recently joined the team as “Information and Support Officer”. Her role will involve providing information, training and support services to carers and families.

Her focus will include:

  • Collating information to improve the content of the website and deliver specific local/national information that is relevant to carers and families.
  • Implementing and co-ordinating a training schedule for the next year aimed at providing information, resources and support for carers and families.
  • Assisting and providing individual specific information and support sessions to carers and families where needed.
  • Maintaining a presence on social media.
